Two experienced auditors of our Surveying & Environmental department embarked on a bulk carrier at Christobal, Panama in mid-May 2023 in order to attend all stages of the repair works at the stern tube sealing system and to perform an expanded environmental audit at the vessel.
During the attendance the proper execution of the repair works of the stern tube sealing system was verified, the environmental compliance of the vessel was assessed and analytical suggestions were made for improvement of the environmental performance.
