On 18 May 2022, the International Maritime Organization established for the first time, the International Day for Women in Shipping.
IMO formally adopted the International Day for Women in Maritime in December last year. It will be observed on 18 May annually from this year onwards.
For all of us in Margetis Maritime this acknowledgment reflects how both women and men can support one another to build an inclusive and sustainable future for our industry.
