The American Club has published a series of guidance focusing on the identification of hazards, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions, alerting seafarers to be concentrated whilst working or living onboard vessels.
The series titled “Good Catch” cover several cases such as falls, fatigue, bad maintenance, hand injuries, mooring line failures, failure to use PPE, doors held open, etc. with short and focused guidance with photos helping seafarers to identify & fix the problem before it happens, taking the responsibility for their own safety!
